Землетрясение 1971 года в Петропавловске-Камчатском в воспоминаниях горожан и архивных документах

В публикации рассказывается об одном из самых сильных землетрясений на Камчатке в XX в., которое произошло 25 ноября 1971 г. В большей степени от землетрясения пострадали город Петропавловск-Камчатский и прилегающие к нему районы. Статья содержит как воспоминания горожан, так и материалы, выявленные в фондах Государственного архива Камчатского края. На основании архивных документов предпринята попытка воссоздать картину реальных разрушений в Петропавловске-Камчатском.

1971 Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky earthquake in the memoirs of citizens and archival documents
The publication tells about one of the strongest earthquakes in Kamchatka in the XX century occurred on November 25, 1971. The city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and the surrounding areas mostly suffered from the earthquake. The publication contains both the memories of citizens and the materials identified
in the funds of the State Archives of the Kamchatka Territory. On the basis of the archival documents, an attempt was made to recreate the picture of real destruction in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
