Автор, анализируя многие документы землепроходцев, статьи историков уточняет расположения анадырского острога, «моржовой» корги, на которых побывал С. Дежнев, Ушковского урочища, и места, где построен бот «Св. Гавриил», вносит коррективы в перечисление ученых, получивших звания академиков Российской академии наук в результате работы на территории Камчатки.

NOTES IN THE MARGIN
Analyzing many documents of explorers and articles of historians the author clarifies the locations of the Anadyr ostrog, the "walrus" corgi visited by S. Dezhnev, the Ushkovsky tract and the places where the bot "St. Gavriil" was built. He also makes adjustments to the list of the scientists who received the title of the academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences as a result of their work on the territory of Kamchatka.
