История становления космофизических исследований на Дальнем Востоке

Шестьдесят лет назад началась организация комплексных магнито-ионосферных наблюдений на Дальнем Востоке. Были образованы геофизические обсерватории на Камчатке, Сахалине, в Хабаровском крае и на побережье Северного Ледовитого океана. На базе этих обсерваторий тридцать пять лет назад был образован Институт космофизических исследований и распространения радиоволн Дальневосточного отделения Российской академии наук (ИКИР ДВО РАН). В настоящее время ИКИР является одним из ведущих научных организаций в области исследования геофизических оболочек литосфера-атмосфера-ионосфера-магнитосфера.

The history of formation of cosmophysical investigations in the Far East
The complex magneto-ionospheric observations were organized in the Far East sixty years ago. Geophysical observatories were formed on Kamchatka, Sakhalin, in Khabarovskiy kray and on the coast of the Arctic Ocean. The Institute of Cosmophysical Research and Radio Wave Propagation of the Far-Eastern
Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IKIR FEB RAS) was organized on the basis of these observatories thirty five years ago. At the present time IKIR is one of the leading scientific organizations in the investigation field of lithosphere-atmosphere-ionosphere-magnetosphere geophysical shells.
